Portrait of a mushroom in its native habitat. The colors are reversed, something I can do in real time, as I am taking a photo — so I can compose images in the negative rather than having to reverse the colors in a post-processing step. To me, this makes a big difference because my creative energy is most intense when I am actually working with the camera.
Here is the photo that was accepted into the Cambdridge Art Association’s BLUE 2012 show (Cambridge, MA, USA). If you live near Cambridge, you can see this photo at University Place Gallery, 124 Mt. Auburn St., until January 10, 2013.
You can also see this photo in my ‘Way Out There in Nature gallery. Enjoy!
